THE BEST Reuben - you have the option of pastrami or corned beef. Hands down get the corned beef!!! And, their Reuben sauce is amazing. I wish the Stanford location was still around.

Nice music, good service and great location The portions were large. Convenient to Davies symphony, herbst theater

This is our go to Restaurant for events at Davies Hall. Easy walk even in medium heels. I always make reservations but sometimes you can get seating without reservations. I Pretty much like everything about this restaurant maybe with the exception of the hostesses. Maybe I'm not being fair and they have to deal with stressful situations from the patrons. Some act like it's just such a pain to seat you. Wait service is always attentive and friendly. The food is always such a joy. I can't imagine ever passing up the garlic bread. Their stuffed mushrooms are good as well as the sliders. I've had several different friends order the crab cakes, and they rave about them. This is about the only restaurant that I will order mixed drinks because they have great bartenders and a fun selection. I normally order red wine. Different friends on separate occasions like the espresso martinis and I've had them and I think they're OK. I prefer the chocolate martinis. The female bartender is funny and fun if you sit at the bar. So really what makes this place shine for me is the piano player. They have different piano players and they really all have their own charm. Can't leave that place without tipping $20 because they always play Moonriver for me with a smile.
